History of the Muskegon South Breakwater Lighthouse

This lighthouse is in the same general location as the Muskegon South Pierhead Lighthouse. This lighthouse, along with a "D9" style tower mark the two piers that jut out into the lake.

Directions: While heading north on US-31 towards Muskegon, exit at East Sherman Blvd. Follow this 5.6 miles west to Beach Street. Follow Beach Street north about 1.8 miles to a park and the lighthouses.
