I don't have much information on this lighthouse, however, I do know that it was built in 1913 and houses a Second-order Fresnel lens. This lighthouse was also a landfall lighthouse for ships from the Orient bound for the Hawaiian Islands before it was deactivated in 1976. The building material is concrete. Directions: The lighthouse sits on the island of Kauai. From the north-eastern town of Kilauea, take Kilauea Road north to the lighthouse.
