History of the Cheboygan Crib Lighthouse

This lighthouse was originally offshore and was used to mark the water intake. It was moved back ashore after it toppled into the channel and made a park centerpiece.

Directions: From the Town of Cheboygan, make a left onto North Huron Street. Follow this to the end, it will lead to a park with the lighthouse in it. As a side note, if you look just off shore you will see the Fourteen Foot Shoal Light.
