Sitting on the shores of Lake Erie, this 65 foot tower displays a flashing green light out of its fourth-order Fresnel lens. It is also one of the oldest active light towers on the Great Lakes.
Directions: While on Route 2 near Danbury, OH, head north on Ohio Route 53 to Ohio Route 163. You will make a right onto 163 and follow that quite a ways (about 9 miles). The lighthouse is somewhat hidden due to a buffer zone of tall trees from the road. Look for St. Mary's Church sign, the lighthouse is the first left just past that sign on Lighthouse Drive.
