Forty Mile Point Lighthouse

Roger's City, Michigan - 1896 (1896**)

Picture of Forty Mile Point Lighthouse

This lighthouse was originally built in 1896 and is still an active aid to navigation as of 2001. It does still house its Fresnel lens. The quarters now serves as the living quarters for the park manager.

Directions: From US-23 heading south towards Rogers City, look for an a un-named road on the left-hand side. There is a small sign for the lighthouse on US-23, so make sure you look carefully for it. If you get to Forty Mile Point Road, you missed it.
